To make our kitchen life simpler, a delicious shrimps dish in 10 minutes. Stir-fry is definitely one of the most common cooking methods in Chinese cuisine. Key points for stir-fried dishes: strong fire and quick hands. Many Chinese shrimp dishes contain shrimps with shell and stir-fried with delicious sauce. The way how to eat it is to use your hands, it’s also not a lady would likely want to do it, but it’s by far the most delicious and easiest way. The shrimp shell is also full of flavour, thus don’t forget to taste the sauce of the shell first before peeling it. I believe there is no classy way to eat shrimps, but for the ladies who wouldn’t like to get your hands dirty. For my dish the shells is already peeled off, but for the finger licking moment stir-fry it with shell.
Ingredients for 4 persons:
650 gr shrimps
3 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
2 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoon Chinese rice wine (optional)
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon oil
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 spring onion
- Peel the shrimp (leave the tail) and remove the vein that runs along right under the surface of the back.
- For the sauce, mix in a small bowl the following ingredients: soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, sesame oil, rice wine and sugar.
- Heat the wok or a large pan with oil to medium-hot. Fry the garlic until you smell the aroma of the garlic. Add the prawns and baked them on both sides until cooked, about 2 minutes on each side. Add the sauce and stir-fry the shrimp until it is completely covered with sauce.
In three steps a delicious dish with shrimp. Garnish it with spring onions and serve with rice.
